SVX Repair Manuals on CD?

Hey everyone,

I had an idea... I have seen mention on e-bay, and possibly other posts on this forum, about the existance of the SVX shop manuals in PDF form. I was wondering if any members might be in possession of said CD(s). If so, I have plenty of webspace available from a domain I own. There is no doubt that myself, as well as most other members, would benefit greatly by having 24x7 access to those documents. If anyone has these manuals and wanted to send me a copy, I would gladly host them for everyone to have access to.

Any thoughts??

-Dan

their cheapest offering at $35 for 3 days access, is a bit of a rip - IMO

Toyota = $10 for a 24-48 hour stint (number of hours depends on time of day when you sign up).

It's still cheaper than buying the entire set of FSM's...and you won't have to worry about getting them dirty

or bent, torn, ripped out in frustration, etc.

another plus is multiple pages can be open at once. I also keep a copy on my laptop (that I have whenever traveling anyway) - weight saving initiative .

I do have repair cd's but they are not for people unfamiliar with the mechanics of the SVX, or any car for that matter. Send me a PM right now I am supporting a fundraiser for the network by selling them and having all of the proceeds go to the Network Administrators. I lose the cost of the cd's themselves and the shipping, but it is all worth it to keep the site up and going

So do these CDs actually contain information from the FSM or just a collection of info from here and elsewhere on the web?

If you have heard of them... it's the Mitchell On Demand CD's. I use them for torque values and loosening, tightening sequences, I have no need for them other than that.
