Time or money?
I'm near 2k dollars and 6 months. The tranny an rear cost me $1000. But then I had to have a machine shop do a bunch of stuff. i.e. pedal assembly, driveshaft, shift linkage. The only machine work I didnt need to pay for was the tranny cross-member. I already paid for one awhile ago. The time is mostly because I havnt had alot to spare. If you added up the accual time working Im probubly around 3 weeks. |

I used a tranny and rear diff from a 92 Legacy. Hopfully I will last more than a month. I'm using a Clutchmasters Stage 2 clutch.

Mine was under $1000 and about 9 months, but the actual working time was less than 40 hours.
Did my own fabrication. A lot of the time was eaten up in things like learning how to weld....

the stick is a lot of work if your not a skilled tech. it has a greater max velocity compared to a 4eat and ofers better acceloration as seen on tomsvx's car. however i do have my doubts about durability, choose wisely for the wrong decision will lead you to the path of darkness. do not give into emotion for this is the path of the dar side of the svx. think rationaly and you will come to the conclusion that a 4.44 is better (your pocket book will love you).
