STi->SVX

For those with hydraulic clutches with your 5spd SVX's has anyone checked to see if the STi braided clutch hose would fit our cars.

My clutch pedal does not come up all the way by itself and there's a Subaru TSB on this issue with the solution to replace the clutch hose. I figure the braided hose would be the way to go.

I've used the same aftermarket braided clutch hose on both my five and six speed trannies in the same car, so this will probably work.

Yeah, picked it up from a link found on nasioc (then i-club) in like 2002 I think. Cost about $40.

After Googling around a bit I think I ordered it from TRi Tuning, which used to be at www.trituning.com. The site is no longer there, however.

When I first installed my six speed I had problems with my clutch not returning from the floor. I ended up filling it by attaching a fluid-filled hose to the bleed nipple then pulling the pedal up from the cabin. Not sure if that will help, but hey, these electrons are free
