Winchester, VA June Mini-Meet
Great time today, Chike, John and Ron!!
There was a lot accomplished on Chike's SVX today. For those that don't know, Chike is a new SVX owner - one month. I think he likes the car!! And he is beginning to understand some of the "uniqueness" of this automobile too . We changed front brake pads, a knock sensor, changed the oil and filter, and cleaned the mouse nest from under the intake manifold (just kidding, Chike). And oh yes, we enjoyed beer and pizza throughout the day as well - and unfortunately watched Smarty Jones lose in the Belmont . A good time was had by all. Shortly, I will post some pics in my locker. For now, attached is a pic of "the crew". Super day, Guys!! Harry

I almost forgot - John and Chike also changed the sparkplugs with great phone assistance from RUFUS!! That Number six is a bear! Many thanks, Mike!!
As I said, a great deal was accomplished on Chike's SVX! Harry

Thanks a million guys!!!
I had a great time today and my SVX is running better than ever! The CE light is gone and I'm sure my mpg will improve dramatically...
Harry also forgot to mention that we switched the oil in my SVX to Mobil 1 10W-30 and got rid of the crappy Fram filter the dealer put on! I must also personally thank rufus for the valuable input he gave us over the phone while switching out the spark plugs. Harry, John and Ron, thanks for the great hands-on lesson that I got today - these cars are great, but at times can be a royal pain to work on. I learned a few neat tricks today that hopefully I'll be able to pass on to other SVXers in the future. Attached is a picture of our four cars in Harry's driveway: I'm dead beat! I'll write more on Sunday... -Chike
