SVX Makes Cameo Appearance In Big Time Motion Picture
So, it just so happens that I am watching TV, and as usual, there is nothing on. So as I am flipping through the channels, I find a movie that is spoofing Lethal Weapon. To those of us who like these kinds of movies,(I, for one, despise them) you may know of National Lampoon's Loaded Waepon 1.
And it just so happens that I catch the movie in the midst of a car chase. One of the main characters bails out of a late model Caprice or Crown Victoria. He then runs over to a car. To my amazement, I see what appears to be a mock headlight. As the main character opens the door of his newly obtained get-away vehicle, I realize that he is hopping into none other than a SUBARU SVX!!!. Yes. WE know that the SVX is badass, but for someone to use the SVX as a get away vehicle is icing on the cake. Best part is, there was drift. Yes, the SVX was used in Drift Mode. Now, few of us know of the special feature we call Power mode, but it never occured to me that a little light came on when I was drifting my car. LMAO I was in Awe that some director decided to use the SVX in such the appropriate manner for the theme of the movie. Check it out. It should put the most stupid grin on your face. Keith

The SVX was also in "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall. I have pics from that movie in my locker too.  Dave
