Parking Brake Light Stays On
Lately, the parking brake light has been on, staying on, but goes away after the car warms up...overfilled brake fluid and it stopped giving me the light, it wasnt low on fluid tho, before, and maybe it just hasnt been cold enough to do it again. I looked in the manual, says, low brake fluid....not so tho....not so...

The reservoir sensor is very sensitive. A few drops can make the difference if it comes on or not.
It comes on when the level is just a hair low. Personally I prefer that to it not coming on until it is out of fluid Doug

Oh yeah the old "brake light" stay on when it's cold out trick. I know how to fix that. The rubber bladder in the cap is stiff when it's cold out and pushes down the float. That turns on the light I take the cap off, of course I have to clean and wipe and clean real good before I take it off, and push the bladder into the cap with my finger. I just did this recently on the 91 Legacy and last year or 2 years ago on the SVX. I guess I could have bought a new more flexible cap also but I change the fluid evry year or two.
