62" and counting....

Here are some pics guys and gals....they were taken at 10am. Had to make a path to get pics of the front of the house; not an easy chore. I made it about 25'.....

I need Stephens snowshoes....

It's still snowing....I have NEVER seen anything like this!

I have no idea when or how I'm going to get out of here!

Is your roof creaking yet?

Imagine the snowman you'll be able to build after all this!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I love snow, it's the only time that my garden looks as good as the neighbours'

Send some snow to Vermont! We are expecting rain tonight/tomorrow. A few more power days on the slopes would be nice. But I can't complain, its been a good snow year in VT.

...Main roads were clear yesterday, but the side and neighborhood roads were impassable. I tried to get the my Jeep Cherokee out of the neighbor street. I spend almost 2 hours of shoveling and getting unstuck. The funny thing is the President of the company calls me on the cell phone (at the same frick'n time that I'm busting my back!) and tells me that "they" really need me in today. ****!!!, I thought. I was going to give it my best and told him it can't get him any guarantees. The whole time I'm thinking to myself that I hate my job...

So to make a long story short, I call work back and tell them that there is NO WAY I will be able to get to work (2 hours later). So I thought to myself..GREAT!! I get a snow day off!! FINALLY!!! I can sit at home with the rest of the family and watch movies! I get out of the soaking wet jacket and clothes and relax on the couch...
.....
.....
1:00 P.M. rolls around and my boss calls me and tells me that he will pick me up from one of the main roads...

URRRRRGGGG!!!!!

I hate the working world!!! (Not to mention my boss.. )

I'll come deliver the snowshoes if you want

Want me to get in my truck and drive those snowshoes over for ya?

While I'm there, I can get your J**P out for you too.
"You're right, I DON'T understand. Now hook this strap up to something that won't come off and I'll pull you out with my Toyota!" *laughs*
(I HAD a Jeep...I can poke fun at 'em...Actually, that thing was so cold in the winter (cj5 ragtop), I'm lucky I still have something to poke with!)

Seriously, It must have melted 2 feet today. I bet you get out just fine tomorrow morning.

I too had the plow wall when I came home from work today. It was bumper high so that is only like 3 feet. I drove over it.

It is still a LITTLE too tall for the SVX to get out, but I might try in the morning none-the-less. If it gets stuck, I'll just winch it backward with the Toyota. I even backed the truck into the garage for such an event.

In fact, I'm kinda bored...I think I'll go try it now. *grins*

My SVX was completly Submerged under the snow. You couldn't see the car! I spent like 5 hrs digging it out and my other cars. My apartment complex didn't even plow so everyone was stuck. I finally was able to make it to the main roads yesterday but the SVX is to low to drive on the backstreets. I haven't been at work since Monday.
