'95 Red SVX AWD w/41K Trade In

Just to let you know we have a traded in '95 SVX AWD here at Lancaster County Motors 1-800-215-5644. The body looks excellent. It might need a tranny. I posted this once before, but I wasn't sure at the time if it was definetly available. Matt

FYI this is the same dealer that "hammered" in Green1995SVXs rear bearings and then when they failed a year and a week or so later wouldn't replace them. Matt is a good guy but I could go on and on about their service dept.

It's an L, Red. I think they are going to replace the tranny. The headlights are clean. The former owners bought it at Apple Subaru, but the tranny started acted up and the story goes that Apple wasn't going to fix it under warrenty so they traded it here on a WRX. That's the story, I'm not bad mouthing Apple's service dept. I'll try to get the VIN for you sometime today.

Ok, I talked to the used car manager and he says he feels he can get $4000 at auction for it with the blown tranny. It really looks good, the interior is in very good shape. I was even thinking of swaping my interior and trans from my '92 and then trading in my '92 with the '95 L interior and a blown tranny. But to I have to little money. VIN JF1CX3351SH100832

Call LCM Used Car at 1-800-215-5644 and ask for Used Car.

He is full of it. You would be lucky to get 4k for a driving svx at auction.

Well, the car may not blow smoke but the manager sure is. 1000-1200 at auction.

The better auction houses have a refund/repair policy on cars discovered to have driveline problems.

I suppose... A '95 L AWD with 41K and a good tranny would get about $5700 private party, $8000 retail. He is kind of high. A rebuilt trans from Subaru is like $2800 plus installation. I was thinking like 2-3 grand. If you rebuilt the tranny though, you would have an awfully young SVX. A '95 with 41K is tempting for me. I can't afford it because I owe to much on my '92 (which I paid 6g's for and it needs a paint job).

Yes it's the base interior. But it is in excellent shape. Only a small ding on the LF fender. I did only look at it quickly though.
