1 Day, Already gone, but...
Well, after being told that I'd only get $1,200 for my SVX as trade-in, I decided to put the ad on here. In 24 hours 48 people of this network viewed my ad, and I'm sorry to report that I went ahead and traded it in for $3,000. It only took the same dealership 1 day to realize that what they were initially offering for my SVX was an insult, plus keeping them from selling me my next car. Here's the swap... $16,000 out the door (Tax included) for a 2004 Toyota Solara LE V6 Sports-Package Coupe with 57,000 miles, super clean. So though I would have rathered to sell my SVX for $4,000... I don't think it would have sold before this Solara would have been gone. So I'd like to thank my SVX for making my new car only $13,000.
I'd like to know where my old SVX goes in this world. Dealer told me its going to auction in Texas or Colorado, but that could be false. Here's the VIN # JF1CX3452RK103010. If you're in the market to buy an SVX and you come across this one, please let me know. I can give the inside information on this car.
