Cool Check Engine Light "ON"

Ok - so now that I've had the car since 1998, I have my first "check engine" warning light come on while travelling to work.....

The car is NZ new (not JDM) - with 143,000kms.

So where can I find diagnostics information for OBD1 type car (built 12/94 - on drivers door side plate).

Trevor,
I know that you have a set of manuals for cars "down under" - just wondering if the "how to get into diagnostics mode" is different from USA (rest of world) as NZ/Aust had full time AWD & variable front/back drive splits etc.

thanks

Stephen
