Would this SVX be a good buy?

I'm looking into buying a my first SVX again (I love these cars). I've found one locally for $2,250 neg. Its a '92. Its black on black leather which, supposedly, is mint, but I'll take that with a grain of salt until I can see it on Monday. Exterior is also supposed to be in really good shape. Here's the basic specs:
165,000 miles
New Dunlop SP 5000 Z rated tires on polished 3rd Gen Supra wheels
New slotted, drilled rotors all around
New wheel bearings
New Constant Velocity Axles
Grill from a '97 SVX
Updated trans cooler and shift kit
New Calsonic radiator
New Xenon Headlamps and Yellow Foglights
Upgraded stereo, the extent of which I do not know
Lowered (don't know how much, but from the pics, doesn't look like its going to bottom out)
Needs front struts replaced.

Opinions appreciated

Thanks

If I'm seeing that correctly that he's a bad ebay guy, its not an ebay car, and the seller lives a lot further north than Vineland.

Looks great in the distant photos, and a repaint for sure. Chrome wheels too, you may want to put a set of stockers on in the winter, cause all that road salt and sand will destroy those chromies for sure. Try to take some up close photos of the exterior and interior, looks like a nice one for the price. Best of Luck!

Re: Would this SVX be a good buy?

I just saw it, got the guy down to $2000, and put on a $500 down payment. I'm picking it up tomorrow. Body's in really good shape, with some scuffs, scratches, and minor dents. Interior is grey leather/velour, and is MINT as was originally said. AC blows warm and the trans shifter has a problem with the shift lock button, but otherwise, wow!
Stereo is a JVC with Polk 6.5s in the doors and factory 6x9s in the deck.

I'm very happy

Re: Would this SVX be a good buy?

Does the AC blow hot air, or does it simply not blow cold anymore? I had the problem of the AC blowing hot air, and when I did the how-to to pull the codes, it reset and fixed itself. Might be worth a try (unless it's simply not blowing cold and it needs a recharge, or something).

Do you have any pics of the yellow fogs? I've been wanting to do this, but I would like to see what it would look like first.

Welcome to the wonderful world of SVX! Prepare to be broke from doing mods/repairs/refurbishing! (But it's all about the love, baby.)
