Oh Noes!!!! Lotus Elise at Road America!!!!
Saw this posted on a few on-line boards over the last week. Seems like the driver of an '05 Lotus Elise had a run-in with a barrier wall at a recent Road America track day. Car only had 1300 miles on it.

THREE! of these showed up at the May 22nd Mercedes Club auto-X in Winchester, VA. Two of them ran, & both turned in 44 seconds something. A restored '68 Mini-Cooper turned in a 48 something, & I did a 50.788 in the 240SX. But, of course, I was holding back lest I embarrass those of deep pocket fortune.
Ron ( whupped TWO Mercedes vehicles.....uh...both diesels).
