Gonna Have to Sell . . .

. . . one of my kids, to keep this car. JUST KIDDING!

Just wanted to see if everyone was paying attention . . . and to weed out the faint of heart.

Okay, you can pick yourselves up off the floor now -- it aint gonna happen.

Randy,

Nice to see you up so early in the morning. What are you doing? Tossing and turning trying to figure out how much to budet for SVX repairs in '02?

I'm pretty lucky, most of my repairs have been warrantee. Of course my time ain't free and so I warned on of the dealers I've been having work on the thing that I would send them an invoice for my time the next time I had to come in for the same problem. It's been working fine since (that was the 8th try to get the rear bearings to last more than six weeks)

I knew it was a joke when I read the title.

The real Randy would never use that as a title for his departure.

Yeah, but, you couldn't help but click, could you? The place was getting kinda dull with so many people off for the holidays. Just thought I'd try to "stir things up" a bit, to start off the new year.

In order to get some "quality time" on the Network, when I'm home, I have to wait until everyone else goes to bed. It used to work fine when the kid's bed time was aroun 9. Now that they're older, they go to bed later. I think I'm going to have to get multiple workstations and set up a network.

I'm figuring to sell the boy, but, I know I can only make money if I sell him by the pound (he's now taller than me and outweighs me by about ten pounds -- and, he's only 13!!!). I figure the income, plus the savings on the grocery bill will not only help me maintain the current SVX, but, allow me to buy one for each of the remaining family members. Sold as is, you pay shipping.

About the network thing maybe you should talk to Doug. One of the few things I don't know anything about is computer networks. Now, if you want to know the volume of a tapered cylinder that's no problem. (pie r2 x height).333. But since them computer guys developed their own language the rest of us have been lost in bauds and gigs and bits and bytes and, and, and....
