The realization of rust concerns on northern cars. I had never experienced this before. Kind of difficult to deal with. First time in my life I bought Liquid Wrench. Subaru service reacted like there was a bomb in the car. I assume the Northern guys are just used to it.

The biggest surprise was the ride quality at highway speeds. I feel like I am floating not to mention it handles excellently and can break 10mph from 65 in not time. Awsome car all around for highway driving. It's no sloutch around town with a 5mt either!!

Yeah i agree with Tom. The handling and highway driving are awesome. I give the SVX handling a 9/10. I love carving corners

My biggest surprise was that when my tranny blew in front of Valley Motors on York Road in Maryland, was that VALLEY MOTORS was the dealership that originally sold my SVX. I found out it sat for almost a year before it was sold. I bought it with 55,000 miles on it. I still love this car.

Yaknow, I feel the same way. Trying to get my S/O to give up her NB to get one. She drives like a little old lady, cause I think cause she is.. (not really as she likes to point out, I am older than her)...but it would be nice to have two...or more.

That the tranny was gone. The 3rd day of ownership the tranny went on the highway, scary.

That the auto window down does, actually work. I was too dumb to figure it out myself before the auto window thread
