She's Alive!!!!

It is with great pleasure that I finally get to announce that my SVX is back up and running!

As some of you already know, Nate helped install a newly built engine and a supercharger that I purchased from JaySVX earlier this year. It took quite a bit of effort to get it working correctly, but it is now finally up and running and I couldn't be happier with the performance gains. It is sooo much fun to drive now

Thanks I still have some bugs to work out....most notably i'm getting an engine code 55 that is causing the check engine light to come on, but hopefully I can get that resolved soon.

Any idea how to resolve that? I do see a cable that is unplugged on top of the engine, towards the back on the passenger side. It is connected to a sensor near the fuel rails. Could that be causing my issue?

If so, could you tell me where that needs to be plugged into?

The CA models have a temp sensor in the EGR system. A crude operational check ....

Find the FSM online and see details.

Prior to the issue that just came up (small fire in the engine compartment) it was running fabulously! Very quick and felt just like the SVX should feel. Granted, I am not looking to set any ground speed records, I just wanted a little more pep in my drive.

by FSM I assume you mean the service manuals? I'll take a look and see if I can find anything in there. I assume on the PDF versions I can just search for EGR and find what you're talking about?
