My SVX is in it's death throws.

Sigh.

Well, it finally happened to ME. The heater core blew. It has been bypassed, but now my electrical systems are stuffed.

I intend on taking my SVX to The Mechanical Stig in Sydney as soon as my bank account is in the positive.

Until then, it is a shadow of its former self. A Giugario ghost on the road.

That's a real shame.

But how could your electrics be affected if heater has been bypassed?

Were you good about coolant changes and using genuine coolant? Heater core is not fun on these

Good question - I know several SVX owners who have had their heater cores blow, and apart from steam coming out of the A/C vents, nothing else went wrong.......

Given that the ECU and TCU are nowhere near the heater core, what else could have been affected?
