WANTED: OEM fusebox & Bottom Connector

I should have removed my fuse box cover and brought it home with me. The following items are not working on my 1992 SVX:

1. The cruise control, ABS light and power steering do not work Fuse #18
2. The brake light and horn do not work. Fuse #12
3. The air conditioner & blower motor do not work. Fuses #20 & 21

It is a 1992 SVX and and the parts I need to order are an OEM fuse box and the "bottom connector."

On page 9-37 of the 1992 Subaru SVX Owners manual this "bottom connector" is shown in illustration OM-4829 and is the one of the two "higher" items on the left side of the fuse box. The one closest to the firewall is the one I need.

Obviously, my term "bottom connector" is not the name of this part I must order. This "bottom connector" is not described on page 43 in the 1992
Subaru SVX Section 6 Service Manual or shown in illustration C6-108.

On pages 10-6 and 10-7 of the 1992 Subaru SVX Owners manual, this "bottom connector" in the Fuse Panel Cavity Number block numbers:
12 20A Brake light, horn
18 10A Cruise control, ABS, Power steering
20 15A Heater fan
21 15A Heater fan

None of the fuses are or have blown. My tech has told me there is a short inside the "bottom connector", the one closest to the firewall and he is unable to open that connector.

To review, I need an OEM fuse box and we are uncertain whether these two "connectors are part of the OEM fuse box.

I am extremely "computer challenged" and I am uncertain whether my "new thread" has been placed in the correct section. My email address and telephone number follow my signature.

A phone call would be much better rather than the back and forth of email correspondence.

Your cooperation is most appreciated. Many thanks for everything.

All the very best,
Howard

Re: MustOrderOEM fusebox & Bottom Connector

If you Search "SVX fusebox" on eBay you will find multipe listings for entire used fuseboxes and new OEM ones. The wiring harness on the bottom of the fuseboxes plug in as is evident if you unbolt them... The harness connectors obviously may be the problem with a continuity check of the malfunctioning controls' wires helping in that area. There are anticorrosion/electrical connector cleaner sprays that may correct corrosion problems.

Good Luck
