I know. James knows I was just giving him a little crapola. My car, previous to my SVX was an 89 Suzuki Sidekick convertible. I'm sure the Camry was a bit more comfortable and economical than mine, plus, I had to have a right/front wheel bearing replaced on the Sidekick.

And, when James describes his "Hard Driven Miles" it was because he spent so much time, trying to chase down SVXes. Now THAT will cause you to drive your Camry VERY hard.

Randy is spot on.....many an SVX has run when it sees the sight of the blue peril in the rear vision mirror, driver screaming and honking and waving bits of paper around!!!

The Camry still serves me well as the runabout.......and I will paint it YELLOW and get personalised plates that spell 'RANDY'.....*evil laugh*

Well I'm still thinking and would appreciate advice. My car (I do love to drive it) Will cost at least 6000.00 for new engine and tranny. I will have replaced almost the entire working structure of the car from the tires to the moonroof. I will have spent 5300 for the original car 3000 in suspension and brakes, and maybe 500 in cosmetics so far.. That's nearing the 15,000 for this car. Is it almost new? Is it stupid? Have I gotten to emotionally involved with a car? This and other questions are yet to be answered!!
