Stock colbalt faster than 92 svx?

So someone has a (I'm guessing stock) colbalt with a scoop and is posative they can beat a 1992 SVX (almost stock) and I'm curious if it's true.. For a list of the mods just check my sig, lol. Runs may reveal that he comes very close to passing me, something wrong with my SVX?

cobalts are fast. i know someone with one and it is not someting to mess with. turbod, or supercharged, its a Monster engine, he drags his, and most people remember the little tail on back, and remember to neer race again, all track of course. they can make some 800 horsepower. this is one of GMs most powerful rocket.

Maybe an ss? As for the rolling start, it's if your already doing about forty, the both of you.. Also I can drive the hell out outta my car and mash the gas but I accelerate to about 120 pretty slowly. Also I might be able to lose him on turns right? Again, I think the colbalt is stock so maybe I need a new tranny and a few other things?

(by the way I do not condone street racing! It is illegal and forbidden! This is strictly speculation and if any activities were to take place they would be on a legal closed circut)

Yeah ok.. It's a small event at work and we don't have lights, we have flags.. It's on a road that leads nowhere because it's a future build site. Again, closed circut and possible sponsored event.. I don't street race, ot knows I drive slow, lol or around the speed limit, rather. I want to be a cop and I'm not letting a 1:00 event of driving ruin that. If it makes you feel better I'll even wear a helmet and elbow pads...

Well my friend has some gay ass 240SX turboed out with a big wing and a krylon paint job. He wants to race me cause he says his car is faster....I just say, don't know, don't care. I'm not 16 so I don't race, it's retarded.
