finnally got my car....now i lost it

i been dying for an svx since i first laid my eyes on it... i was like 10 years old... i sapent a good 2 years looking for the perfect one.. i finally get it. i spend 2 more months saving up money for the transmission work after thats done i finaly drive it..it was the best feeling... the feeling of success... then 2 days later i was hit by a bus and my insurace wont cover it and now i have to get rid of it...damn bus hit the crap out of me. traffic was stoped and he had given me space to get in front of him but a of the car as i was gettin in he started moving and hit me in the middle and kept moving so i was forced to accelerate to aviod injury to my self which caused more injury to the car...the metal is cut and denmted and destroyed at the driver side from the end of the door to the bumper.... thats my horrible story

who was at fault?

If you were at fault sorry. But, if the bus was at fault then there insurance should be buying you a new SVX.

There is something you will never understand: When you drive and SVX and you got into and accident, you are never at fault , only the fact that other are not driving that car is a mistake... the proof: you find lots of BMW's, Mercedeses, Toyotas, Nissans, ..... even T models, but you rarely drive a funky windows car such an SVX !!!

It does not matter where the fault lies. When you fight with bigger things on the road, you loose. From the sound of it, dino might have been enjoying his car a little too much and try to cut off the bus. I could be wrong. I was not there.

I've only been on the SVX boards a few months and one thing I have noticed is the attrition rate. Seems like once a week another SVX bites the dust.

it was my fault in the sense that i should have made sure that the bus driver had seen me it was my fault for assuming that he had seen me but it was also his fault because any normal driver would have seen me and let me pass. traffic had stoped when i made the move i wasnt trying to cut him off i was justin tryin to gete in the flow of traffic.. but when the light turned green he didnt look he just left and took a few parts of me with him

You should see the CTA bus drivers here. They are wonderful people. Most of them -- I don't think -- have valid licenses.
