told you guys, punisher heres the site i was going off, now I wan that RB25 R33 on yours tho! www.yenimports.co.uk this is where i was looking, I guess that they're kind of a pain to get in but you can, you can always get one and drive it without a title(LOL) but all you need is DOT and emissions standards and crash test results(this one is hard) after that their smooth sailing! I am actually in the process of getting a job soo, and with selling my SVX, all of my paintball gear and RC car stuff I could afford to get one and get it here, then i just got to come up with a way to pay for DOT/emmisions crap and getting it from a port to MN.

How about coming up with a way to pay for, you know, college first. Honestly, this just doesn't sound like a practical way to get a daily driver.

You first list the requirements for making a JDM car legal to title and register in the US. Whether or not you've truly researched this, I don't know, but you conveniently leave one of the items out of your 'plan' - federal crash testing.

Nuh Uh! I mentioned the crash test requirements! I know, this is seriously a long shot but what the hell, I can try right, and I have done a TON of research, and I have been told there is actually a loop hole in the system so you aren't required to meet all of that crap, I doubt it will happen tho, so I am starting to save for NO2, or a supercharger/turbo, short ram, duel mushroom setup, Custom headers, 3 in exaust, two titanium mufflers, and hanging equipment, then I am going to make custom molds for a carbon fiber widebody kit I am going to make, a carbon fiber hood(w/ WRX scoop), new rims, an adjustable shocksetup, new springs, and a stage 1 ecu. Not to mention other matinence costs.

I didn't mean to imply that. I wish you nothing but the best of luck.

You would gain more simply by attending a race-driving school;
the instruction is transferrable at least, to your next car. And the car after that, and the car after that...

I'd recommend doing the SOLO 2 or SOLO 1, or going to the local drag strip on test and tune nights. I dought you'd like the Road Rally that SCCA does. Your timed and you get penalised for going TOO fast. The Solos are auto-x.

thanks, then I'll look more into x and solos, I decieded against the Skyline because there aren't any R33s that suit my fancy right now, and I would want teh RB25 not the RB20 so, oh well I'll keep my eyes open, yeah I'll put my drawing in my locker, check it out and give me suggestions and critism is welcome
