Key Wouldn't Turn Couldn't Start

ENGAGING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE BEFORE PUTTING IT IN GEAR AND TURNING OFF THE KEY, THEN STARTING BEFORE DISENGAGING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ALLOWS ME TO START WITHOUT FIGHTING WITH THE STEARING WHEEL AND THE KEY OR CHANGING THE FAULT WITH THE STEARING COLUMN OR IGNITION WHICH EVER IT IS.

I think most of has have trained our steering wheels to not give us crap whenever we want to put our hands on them.

Do you turn the steering wheel to lock it after removing the key? If so the tension of the wheel will make it tough to turn the key without applying some turning pressure on the wheel.
