Sales of popular convertables

Just found some interesting info on the most popular covertables sold last year:


Chrysler Sebring: 42,476 sold
Ford Mustang: 41,289 sold
Volkswagon Beetle: 23,316 sold
BMW Z4: 18,852 sold
Mitsubishi Eclipse: 12,382 sold


That's just the number of convertable models sold in one year. Can you imagine how many hardtop models were sold? Makes you appreciate the rarity of the SVX with only some 14,000 ever sold in the U.S.! It might not be the fastest thing on 4 wheels, but you certainly can't argue with it's rarity

Uniqueness is definitely one of its strong points...and weak points at times.
