That was the center driveshaft mount... The 5 speed had a clearance issue of probably about 1/4 inch too high... Ironically, after nearly a year of having to deaal with that I finally had a new tranny crossmember coming in the mail and I go and wreck!!! Oh, well... it's going on the car as soon as it is back on the road
