Hey,

When it is concerning the 4EAT are there any certain year, or serial number better than others?

Subaru made improvements to the SVX's 4EAT over the '92-'94 model years. After the mid '94 MY, all 4EAT transmissions are the same. The following page has a lot of useful info:4EAT Transmission FAQ

That's not exactly true. In '96 the ATF flow was increased by boring out the valve orifice. There were also some electronics improvements.

I never knew that before...it wasn't listed in any literature that I've read on the SVX. I guess that's good news for the OBDII people...
