UPDATE The models arrived at DNA in Switzerland this morning. They are being checked over and thoroughly inspected before final packaging and preparation for shipment. Those with pre-orders should be getting shipping confirmation emails very soon. .

I got e-mails from DHL saying that the delivery will be Monday 2/22/21. So the SVX is on its way.

That’s what I thought. Got confirmation from Ben at DNA a few minutes ago “yes, we finally been able to custom clear the container and it has been delivered on Monday. Now the warehouse is shipping the orders! Yes, they are shipped with DHL Express from Slovakia. It will only take a few days before delivery. It might take 1 more day before they all are shipped, as we had a lot of orders to fulfill at the same time. John, by he way, yours should be shipped today, you will receive an email when it is done.”

Larry III and Olu have delivery scheduled for Monday the 22 as well. Mine is being delivered on Thursday the 25th. (No, I did not ask them for a polo green paint job and beige interior) Pre-orders/orders were a great success and the production run of 300 is almost sold out. Waiting for a figure in how many are left in inventory to purchase. A photo of one which was already delivered. See attachment. .

ALL GONE! As of this morning, the entire production of 300 SVX models have been sold and are no longer in stock. There probably will not be another batch produced. This was it. Ben said never in the history of DNA has there been such a quick depletion of the production run for such a unique car as the SVX. He thanked me for bringing this dream to reality. Basically most were all spoken for and pre-ordered and paid for before they arrived this past Monday. .

DHL kept me well informed, slated to arrive Feb 27, chose to prepay the import duty $46. Wonder of wonders it was delivered to my door yesterday Feb 19.
Gobsmacked at the detail, fit and finish. Would have paid twice as much for opening doors, hood, engine & trunk. Out today in sunny snow for photo op. Wish I'd ordered 2 so I would paint one Laguna Blue Pearl. 1:64, 1:24 and 1:18. (broke my 1:48 Norev casting. Sad) scale on the parcel shelf will be much admired at this summer's cruise ins. PS I will buy anyone's extra DNA or NOREV models.

Mine is arriving on the 27th as well. Seems to be taking the scenic route. Slovakia to Minsk in Belarus, then on to Leipzig, Germany. Then to Milan, Italy and now en route to their major hub in exciting Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) operates as their main international hub in the U.S. Then to Harrisburg, PA and then to me. .

Well, well! A box showed up a day early on the porch. First of all this shipping container box looked as if it were handled by English butlers with chamois gloves. I mean this box took a loooog trip, & not a ding, or scratch anywhere. I then carefully removed the DNA box from within, & viewed another precisely engineered work of cardboard art.....& then, the finale - a gorgeous shiny panda with the wheels on correctly. Very, nice indeed - only sorry the greenhouse of the car can't be removed to better view the power window switches, but I'll just have to live it
 The car, in display box now sits on the mantle next to the white 1936 Mercedes 500 K. Proper company. Thanks to John, & all the folks that made this happen. Ron.

Got an email today from Ben at DNA. DNA Collectibles is thinking about releasing the 1:18 SVX in other colors than Pearl white. They have made a poll to let people choose the best colors: https://pollunit.com/polls/4otttvbkkh9nmfsglxtxpa If colors are missing, people can add them. They don’t know if there would be enough of a demand for the reedition. .
