Talking crazy idea

I have been throwing this idea around for a while and would like your opinions on it. How does a SVX drivetrain in a 1920s to 1930s era hot rod sound? I think the flat six would look awesome in one of these especially with zoomies exhaust and exposed engine area Tell me what you think because I have access to both a spare SVX and some old hot rods in the local area.

dont know yet just thought it would be a cool ride. If I could the engine would be fully polished and I would like to keep the awd setup. Superchargers and turbos would be easy to run from the unlimited space in those cars. Now if i only had some cash

I thought about something simlar. Only instead of a hot rod, I was thinking about something like a 1950-60 Jag race car. You know the low slung ide bodied type. Like they used in the old Elvis movies.

I do artwork of cars on the side and maybe Ill draw one up in my spare time. I was thinking 32 Ford roadster. Also any of the VW based kit cars would be an option for the SVX engine.

Only Money

I agree that it would be expensive for some. But for others like me that have a complete parts car with all good mechanical parts, it would not be so expensive. It would just be an alternate use of the parts available. I have had my wrecked car for over 9 years and have only used the seats from it and borrowed the rear axles to save replacing bearings on another. If I don't find a Silver to put things in I might think of a different use for them. At least a hot rod normally goes up in value instead of down. Something to consider.

Only if i was rich, i would show you what are my capabilities concerning cars.... Mods and some manually made cars...
I was studying a buggy concept i was contemplating to manufacture out of my VW MK1 Golf of 1977... but I buried the project for the time being, it will weigh no more than 850 Lbs, with over 150 BHP.... it was gonna be an innovation concerning stability, performance and design...
It was gonna be a 2 seater, fiberglass body, steel chassis and a set of 17" X 9 wheels at the back and 17" X 7.5 in the front...
cost = .... $3500 overall (pipes + fiberglass material + engine tune up from 1.8L to 2.2 L + paintjob + wheels and tyres +.....)

I remember when it was mighty cool to put a Jag rear end in a hot rod. (Maybe it still is?)
