No matter what color your skin is, if you go to a dam or a power plant or a bridge and are acting suspiciously (suspicious activity is all relative) and are spotted by a police officer or a security guard and are not cooperative, you damn well better be stopped, your information better be obtained, and you damn well better be questioned. I'm very glad these enforcement officials are doing their JOBS.
There is nothing illegal about taking pictures most times. Likewise, there is nothing illegal about being stopped (with probable cause. but come on, probable cause is 12 for 10 cents) and asked to produce identification. I guess the moral of the story is if you're doing something suspicious, expect to be carded and don't be an ass by refusing to cooperate. Glad to hear my tax money really is going towards my protection. And if this fella really felt he is the victim of a crime or some large injustice, why has he not filed suit? Because he knows damn well that, although he may not like it, he was wrong in being uncooperative. |
