A/C condenser replacement

My new rebuilt a/c compressor has the back two wire cut very short. I tried to remove the connector located within the back plate of the compressor but was unable to get it out. It appears my only choice is to try to scab into the short wires that are available. Any advice?

I figured out the problem. The two wires at the back of the compressor are a selonoid. If anyone happens to buy a rebuilt compressor with the wires cut, you have to remove the back plate (6 metric hex head bolts, carefully pry the plate from the gasket), and replace the whole selonoid with your old one (you have to open your old one too). It's a hassle, adds about an hour to the work, but if the option is to send the compressor back or to make do, it's easier to make do.
