I am anti GWB. I think he's done a poor job. I am also anti-terrorist and think we ought to kick ass. I am pro American.

The problem in Iraq is we don't have enough troops there . Bush is trying to run this WAR;yes, it is still a WAR , on the cheap, just like LBJ and Nixon did in Viet Nam.

The names & places may change but history does repeat itself.

There are damn few liberals or conservatives anymore, and I think we're much the poorer for it. I'm not so naive to believe money in politics wasn't always important, but people took sides and let funds flow from that stance. Now it seems politicians just latch onto fund sources and do whatever it takes to keep them flowing. Imagine....what if we had the two following hypothetical presidents....

A "liberal", balancing the budget & downsizing the federal work force.

A "conservative" adding to the federal workforce, increasing the deficit.

Federal employees

Hi everyone, Some interesting numbers I heard on NPR this week. 93,000, number of jobs lost in August. 17 million, number of people that work directly or indirectly for the federal government.Take care everyone, BOBB
