NE SVX Meet #3
The plans are under way for the third New England SVX meet. Once again the meet will be held at Tri-State Subaru in Webster MA. The tentative date is in mid-October (I am working on getting a definite date ASAP). Just like last time there will be free food, a wonderful tour of southern MA, and the chance to speak to Jerry Costa, a Senior Subaru Master Technician. There will also be door prizes and a new Baja will be on hand for test drives. As always the meet is open to anyone, although I'd like to remind people that this is an SVX meet, not an SVX/Impreza meet. I don't know how that happened last time. I appreciate the support, but lets keep the spotlight on the SVX this time
Anyone who is interested let me know so I can start giving some numbers to Tri-State. See ya there! David |

Beverly and Scott Stowell will be reppin' NY's Capitol District, unless it falls on October 6th.... we would have to have a family meeting to decide on the New Hampshire BMW Show and Shine or the SVX gathering. Life is filled with difficult choices!

You know I was kinda thinking the same thing, we are all SUBARU enthusiasts... the first Reading meet ever we had a gentleman in a Legacy ask if he was welcome, and we did welcome him with open arms, although he did pick up the nickname 'The dork in a legacy' but it was all in jest and we had a good time, wait a GREAT time. I would have to go so far as to say you are not seeing people like larry and randy jumping at this for the restrictions that you have placed. I know its hard to see, but look in the top back left of this photo...
www.subarusvx.org/registry/rsvx/boiler2.jpg The whole idea of we are better than you makes me sick...

Chris did I meet you once @ a SCO event @ Valley Forge? I remember we took a picture with my XT6 + 2 SVXs and one was Red from NJ.

I'm sorry you guys see it that way. I'm a Subaru fan, and yes we are all a big family. But there is a time and a place for Impreza/Legacy/Justy/Loyale/Brat meets......this just isn't one of them. Why can't the SVX be the sole main attraction? I'm not saying that people who own Impreza's can't go....that would be stupid. I also don't think I'm better than anyone else. I'm simply saying that last time it was an SVX/Impreza meet, and this time it is just an SVX meet. Lighten up.

NE MEET #3
Ok, we are officially on for the 19th of October. It will probably run 12-4. We'll do food, a drive, prizes, and a talk with the Master Tech. For those of you not offended by any of the above: See ya there!

It's on my calendar.
I'll bring my radios like last time assuming there is no show stoppers.
Adam, if you want to stop by on the way down we'll caraSVX. I'll also send out an email to my 'local list'. My appolgies if it seems redundant, I just want to make sure we all are advised. Jeff
