Tranny Band Adjustment; Where?

I have three very good procedures to do the "Brake Band Adjustment" on the transmission. All give a tightening torque and how many turns to back off. All say the adjustment nut is on the left side of the transmission. I even have a few pictures of it, close up.

Anyone know where the heck it is? Front or back of transmission? How high up? Can it be reached with tranny in the car? If so, from top via engine bay or from bottom between exhaust pipes? What needs to be dismantled? I could not even see it and from the pictures it should be pretty obvious.

I'm counting on you all!
