Dash light/parking light switches.
I finally got my dash apart last night to change bulbs. No problem with those behind the speedometer, gas gauge, etc.
When I pulled part the lower switches (cruise, flashers, parking, etc), I couldn't figure how to get those micro lights out of the switch bar. Can someone tell me how to get them out. Also when I put a screwdriver to the plastic screw on top of the parking light switch, there was a spark and now the parking light switch won't work. is there a fuse or soemthing for this? (Parking lights still work from the column). Help..I won't to change the bulbs and get it back together again ASAP.

Those bulbs come out with a half turn. The wires for the bulbs are wrapped around the base. You can replace the whole thing from Subaru ($$$) or you can get a bulb from Radio Shack and rewire it onto the base.
I bet if you wanted to get fancy you could get LED's from www.eled.com and never have to worry about changing them again. Be careful with the little green condoms on the bulbs. Some of them may be melted to the bulb so be careful when taking them off.
