SUS

I remember when this came out. The beginning of the Outback. I think it was 1993.. Anyone remember? This was parked across from my car at work yesterday. Great shape.

YES! You win the prize!
do you want your sheepdog wrapped?

In 1995 Subaru made the Outback Wagon,
15" alloy wheels,
two tone,
black/gray interior,
and maybe fog lights,.
In 1996 it got the lift kit and more.
SUS later and automatic only.

Re: SUS

The original OUTBACK was only in Wagon form. In 99 they did this SUS Sport Utility Sedan. Boy when you get old it is hard to remember what year things were in relation to time. The SUS was made and sold in New England 1or 2years before the rest of the country.

Re: SUS

Indeed- though my mom has passed on, we still have her 98 SUS with barely 60,000 miles on it. Great car all around.

The Impreza Outback Sport was also called the Impreza Outback in 1995 and became the Impreza Outback Sport to differentiate it from the Legacy Outbacks. Also got discs on all 4 corners instead of discs/drums for the first and last time in that body style in 1996.

Yep foglights. Just the little fog lights though not the big ones like on the 96 and up.
