02 Legacy; need Center Diff

Hi All,

Since my SVX is sidelined; im driving my 02 legacy GT (5spd, MT) I had an issue recently that seemed like CV joints; but only after driving on the highway and really warm; I got binding in both directions and also some clunking while shifting after gettingn off the thruway; all the symptoms go away when cold.

From what everyone else has told me, it appears that my center differential is bad; because its a manual; its a viscous coupler and not clutch plates which means I should be able to drop the back third of the tranny and slide the diff out; Can anyone confirm this and does anyone have a center diff/tranny at a decent price? Im willing to pick up if near buffalo, or pay for shipping

Thanks all
