Re: Money no object car you would build

Well right now, money no object, I'd get that flat-12 we were talking about in another thread, stick it in the back of an SVX body, and still keep it AWD.

Re: Money no object car you would build

I'd build a Mustang just like crazyhorse's, but only to keep it from being one-of-a-kind.

This is actually a crafty question, because I could say that it would be slick to emulate a teen years favorite by getting a Stateside 911 and converting it to 959 bodywork and equal or better mechanicals, but it might turn out that I don't fit quite right in it, or some other unpredictable feature.

Barring that? Full on 959 knockoff, and to hell with the purists.

Re: Money no object car you would build

Hand my SVX over to the Guild of Automotive Restorers for a full body and interior restoration and customization (custom bumpers and skirts, slightly widened fenders, interior fully redone in genuine leather and alcantara), then to AMS Performance for a driveline overhaul (H6TT, 6MT, 600 AWHP - I'd call it the 666 build ).

Lil Pete from Lil Big Rig.com built on an F250/350 chassis with a Cummins swap.
