As for the weekend, Robin and I missed the Nethercutt, but had an absolute blast at the Petersen. The outdoor 3rd story Promenade SVX gallery was fabulous, and the owners - such a cool group of people. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
Thanks.

Darryl and Robin,
We were privileged to have you make the meet Sunday, great to meet you!

Thanks for the mention of our Koni-meet in Roseville, Darryl! It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and spend some Quality time with Paul & David, and friend Ron, while toiling on a great project!

Gwen and I want to thank you all too, for coming out, showing your wonderful cars, and sharing a truly memorable experience. It certainly proved worth the travel to meet so many folks sharing the SVX-Love in such memorable venues!

Re: So Cal meet is ON!

Hi guys (and gals),

I truly appreciate your comments — Now I want to make the NEXT 2 Museum weekend even better. Just a thought, what about the weekend after Thanksgiving? Since many people have that Friday off, we could make it a THREE day event. I've just got access to two more really intersting private museums that are actually within walking distance of each other, just up the coast in Oxnard. One is just a retired dentist's private collection that kind of got out of hand (100 cars and a huge HO gauge train layout) and the other is devoted to (mainly) French cars from the Art Deco period. It's now the home of the 1925 Bugatti that was sunk in Lake Maggiore for 60 years, plus a number of Pebble Beach winners. It has about 50 cars spectacularly displayed, including the remains of the Schlumpf Collection from France and a lot of pre-war racers.

Just an idea, that gives us time to work on getting the prototypes from Japan and some other things going as well.

I'm sorry I got so worn out from preparing for that memorable weekend that I haven't really visited the board as much as I used to . Also, I just set up a Picasa account, so that I will be able to imbed pictures in my posts. (still haven't uploaded anything to it, it'll happen.)

Anyway, thanks again for all your good words (and pictures) It was truly a memorable weekend. (But the next one will be better!)

Paul

Better? Better! I didn't realize a weekend could get any better.

I was actually thinking of suggesting The Mullin Automotive Museum in "The 'Nard" after reading about it's opening on Hooniverse. That place looks great... Count me in.

I would like to see Leno's Garage someday,
Leno has a few Show or Display approved cars, maybe he would invite the Show or Display Subaru and all the SVXes
There is no end to what we can plan in California
