Stevebsy bumper. Yay or Nay?

I am trying to get opinions on what everybody thinks of the Stevebsy front bumper.. I am in the market for some exterior mods and updating the front bumper just so happens to be on my list.

I am not the richest person in the world and like most of us, I don't have a lot to spend to modify my car the way I want so I have to do a little at a time. From what I gather, the Stevebsy front bumper is only $450.00 which I think is a great price for a front bumper considering the list of others available, which are too few.

What I could do is, take a chance on Eric's front spoiler lip and see if I could live with that ($175). I could also buy the 2 piece front splitters and mould them to look less like a bolt on ($250). I could also wait and hope for a cloud clone front bumper to come out too but that is a stretch.. Especially since I doubt it'll be cheap.

What I'm really wondering is if anybody heard any bad things about them or if anybody is unhappy with their choice in the bumper, if they purchased it. The other choices are made up of the same material I imagine..

For those of you who don't know what a Stevebsy bumper looks like, It looks like this: (Imagine with a scoop..)

Actually, could someone photochop a hood scoop onto one?

I love it. Clean, smooth styling, doesn't look rice-y, compliments the car very well...I'd pick one up in a heartbeat if I could.

Looks fantastic on the white car, best I've seen... Though something still looks odd about it. I think its that the opening in the front looks too big when compaired to the size of the headlights and grill.

Thing looks like it's begging to have a FMIC there. I think it's a good choice.

Re: Stevebsy bumper. Yay or Nay?

Just to clarify, the white car shown isn't the bumper Stevebsy made, the one shown on Earl's Laguna is. I believe the one on the white car is a Euro-style bumper someone made prior to Stevebsy. Either looks awesome though.

I think the only thing it needs is the matching line that runs along the stock bumper. It also could use a big front mount intercooler

Re: Stevebsy bumper. Yay or Nay?

That's right. The white car was some one-off for a show in Japan. It you search waaay back in time, back in the very early days of this site, there are some posts about it. Basically with those two pictures as my only reference, I made the bumper because the source of it could never be found.

The blue car Earl now has was actually the very first one I ever made for sale, ah memories....

Well, anyhow...I can still make them, send me a PM if you want to discuss further.
