Im sorry to see this happen to blackie!

If I ever woke up to something like this I would get revenge and there would be hell to pay!

From the looks of things, its new headlights/grill/hood and some time on a frame machine to straighten out the upper radiator support ( ask me how I know the support is kinked).

The insurance company should file it as uninsured/under insured as it is technically a hit-and-run. Bring this to their attention and maybe even bluff with legal action?

PS; Jerry can do more with a rock, a piece of cardboard, a string and some ducttape than most shops.

the plan is to stand on the hood and smash it down to near it's intended shape until i can get it replaced (hopefully at reading).

what is a port-a-power? i'm almost afraid to ask.

i did buy it, but it wasn't as cheap as i had hoped. at least it still has a clear title. it runs fine now, it just looks like ass.

yes to all of your observations. and how do you know the support is kinked? i wasn't sure until i got the hood opened.

they are considering it a hit-and-run which makes it a collision claim rather than a comprehensive one. i wish it would have been comprehensive.

A port a power is a hydraulic jack that has various extentions used to jack things into shape.
Or we could bring a tape measure, some wood blocks and a BFH.

So sorry to hear, a port a power is a hydro body panle mover you can rent to reshape stuff. You can pull it with a comealong or nice cable to readjust the shape.

I had a dumb-b**** back into me And it did pretty much the same type of damage (not as intense though as it was only 4-5mph).
