Exclamation '96 Suby Legacy 2.2 AT - 3.3L Suby SVX?

will the 96 suby legacy 2.2L AT work for my 92 suby svx? plz say yesss!!! hahaha!, cuz if so it will save me a crap load of money!!!

In a word, yes. One caveat, you'll need the rear diff as well.

yes it will work. That is the infamous 4.11 auto which has been known to fail quickly when equipped in SVXi. I would search for a 4.44 trans and rear from outbacks and legacy GT's w/ a 2.5l DOHC

ok, but do u think it would be a good deal if i could get both the tranny and diff for $500?

not really, i can get REALLY low mileage 4.11 transmissions around here for MUCH cheaper than that... but they are not the best match for the car, so I don't. Try sending svxfiles a PM he can usually find 4.44 transmissions w/ good mileage for good prices
