Thanks Earl!
It could make it the way it is, as long as I refilled the oil halfway Yes, it should be done before Reading.

1.) wtf? Laguna blue was 94... but that car has blue-tinted side and rear windows? I thought 94 onward had the bronze tint? Not banging on it; it looks awesome. I love the blue tint. But I didn't know the Lagunas had it.
2.) What's that thing to the left of the Cruise Control switch? |

Ah, yes...this car is rough. It must be said though, that the PO was NOT an a-hole. He was a hard or hearing older gentelman living in a rough neighborhood. If you saw the conditions of the road the car resided at, you'd be amazed that the car looks as GOOD as it does.
Not only did he let us use his plates, current registration, and insurance to drive the car back (With him following us to retrieve said plaes, as well as make sure we arrived safely) , he also helped us get the car jump started, as it had been sitting for some time. HE also gave us a price that is beyond fair, and showed nothing but excitment that the car was going to a good home, and already had restoration plans made for it. So yeah, anyway, back to the car.Essentially, it needs a detailing..BADLY. Mechanicly, there's an intermittent alternator issue, and the engine seals leak slightly worse than they do on my daily driver. It needs tires. Bodywork wise, there's a few dents on the passenger side rear quarter that concern me. something about the way it lines up at the trunk is alarming, and it's going to take some detective work to get it fixed right. Other than that, it's just hanging new panels on

Great find and best of luck making this "diamond in the rough" shine!
-Bill p.s. did you put the Saturn in the early pics just to mess with us?

It's got some bodywork issues, but other than being nasty dirty, it's in good shape.
Nice score guys.

Did some cleaning today
I took the car to work and did a cursory cleanup of primarily the interior, but did a quick exterior wash and engine spray as well.
Results: New panels are in order for this weekend.

Some wheels are on backwards. Oh, and I like the left rear wheel.
Great project. Good car to get back on the road. Great color Mike.

Anyhow...the checklist from today:
Engine oil, gear oil, tranny fluid...Check new door, new hood, new fender...Check slightly used wheels and tires all around (AND installed forwardsly)...Check New Alternator...Check fully aligned all the new panels and fully straightened radiator support...almost done Engine reseal...hopefully sooner than later Noticed the headlight mounting points are broken, so there may be some tweaking necicarry once new parts are in. the drivers side lower cladding either needs to be heated and straightened, or replaced, because it's buckled under the front of the drivers door. other than that a few door dings need to be taken care of, and the new panels need to be blue, and it'll be cosmetically fit for display at Reading The car runs and drives pretty well, but we're waiting on a few more tests before we give it a clean bill of health
