This was my first SVXnet event, and I really enjoyed meeting some of the guys that whose posts I have read. Look forward to seeing them again, and any other SVX'ers at future events. By the way, I'm one of the Dans in Tom's list of attendees. Thanks, Tom, for being the host.

Thanks for a very eventful weekend folks. I got the car home safely, but I had to top-off the atf a few times along the way as the tq converter seal on John's front diff case was shot. The front diff gears are also whining at a steady rate so I'm going to need to source a new trans.

Looks like I'll be out of commission for a while. But I'll be back in the Spring.

Best!

Ouch

Sorry to have read this Chike. Hope things work out for you. I wanted to join in the fun and read about it too late. I don't even own an SVX. Shucks!

You don't need to own an SVX to be part of the fun! Several members, including myself, have a great respect for you...

I posted this in another thread, but here's what the upper portion of my cracked diff case looked like when we pulled it over the weekend:

It was definitely a fun time.

I was going to stay home and just do stuff around the house, but then I just was like I wonder what they're up to.... gave Tom and call and he's like yea if you're not doing anything come down.

So i called my other friend tom, swung by and picked him up. It was definitely a spur of the moment thing lol.

Sorry to hear about the car chike

I wish I could have stayed longer to see what the final results were. Hope the project was successful otherwise

Well my atf leaked has stopped after adding a quart of Valvoline Transmission Stop Leak. The front diff gears still whine but to a lesser degree. I'll be at the drag meet on 11/25 at least as a spectator!
