oh no. i understand your point. what i'm saying although it's not being done now. it can be done, but not with the existing hardware and software components that is currently available in phones. we have the technology to do it. that's all i'm saying.

if you shine a flashlight into your cellphone and you have sensors to measure the lumens + a way to transmit the information to another cellphone +a cellphone with a lightbulb built in or around the speaker, then yes....you can see some light coming out of the speaker vent.

O.K. everone my empty Hide-A -Key is still under my drivers door , but I have to let you know i haven't gotten my car out of the garage this week because of construction work (wish this was over), But i will put this Hide-A-Key to the test next week on our lovely CA (crappy , bummpy roads) And post an update (if anyone really cares )

Try super glueing it to the back of your marker plate. If you get locked out you will need a screw driver to remove the plate. better than that Locksmith removing $20.00 from your wallet
