Forester 3.0 H6

Have Subaru launched the Forester with the H6 engine in the US ?
I saw a very brief reference to it in a UK Auto magazine, not due in the UK unil the end of this year apparently. If it has been launched do you have any website links to reviews ?

Brand new model Forester to be launched here in Japan in the first week of February but no mention of it including the H6 engine. However the next Legacy GT (sedan and wagon) due mid year, will have the H6 as standard.

Thanks, the article I mentioned did say it would be launched in Japan with the H6 3.0, it made the point the engine was only 2 inches (50mm) longer than the usual flat 4. It is fitted to the Outback in the UK (a legacy estate)

Well, it's about time...

Which probably means we will get it...ah...about...2005. Good grief SOA, shoehorn that thing in the GT and get it over with. Then the aftermarket guys can play with it, and Subaru will see the light and bring in the B4. Or even something that Aredub might approve of...

I thought the outback sedan has H6 or is that the LL Bean edition outback station wagon? I recall seeing some outback at the Suby Dealer with the H-6 3.0
