OT--Work on Christmas Eve

Hello everyone, I'm sitting here in my cubicle doing my usual work plus the work of the 3 other people who are on vacation.

just a short vent of frustration. Can't say anymore since i won't be able to get all this stuff done.

Happy Holidays-- ("Have to be PC, can't say Merry Christmas," my boss)

I have the need to say Merry Christmas as much as they have the right not to hear it, so who wins?

Have a good day, work'll be over soon. This is maybe my third time in 31 years that I've been off on the eve. You'll forget all about it once you get home.

p.s. Oh yeah,

I am working along with the two guys on my staff. Of course, today "working" means...

UNREAL TOURNAMENT DEATHMATCH

Even more fun than staying home, and allows me to sneak in one more vacation day before the end of the year

Merry Christmas or Happy Whatever You Celebrate to all of you. It has been great fun hanging out with you all this past year

See, I don't understand how people can become upset just because we "Christmasers" say "Merry Christmas." I mean, If I said, "How's your auntie?" Those of you who don't have aunties wouldn't get pissed off, you'd just ignore it, right?

Okay -- that's my social commentary for the day.

Did the news about that enlightened island of PC, known as Kensington, MD, make the national scene? Two residents protested that the appearance of Santa during the town's annual Christmas festivities
constituted emphasis upon "pagan" celebration, & would be offensive to certain religious groups. Yes - the town's best & brightest council wienies caved to this request. The good news - Hundreds of townfolk showed up in Santa outfits. Ya' gotta love it!

Ya that story, or one very similar to it did make the national news.

I wonder if Santa Claus is not able to show his face in Santa Claus, Indiana... Yes that's really the name of a town in Indiana.
