Question to manual tranny owners
Friend of mine owns `92 USDM SVX swapped 6MT with DCCD and he`s got few problems after swap, he`s asking for an advices:
1. When warming up, idle rpm shakes from 1000rpm till dead (400-500rpm). If he dont meddle in idle regulation, the idle rpm too high in comparison with normal conditions 2. Before 1500-1700rpm engine loses traction, but after it kicks and then runs good MAF is ok, fuel pump is ok, the problem still exists after engine replacement, so all sensors and engine electrical is ok. 3. What exactly to do with electrical after swap? He did a lock on neutral position as i know. But maybe he lost something. Could anyone tell please what to do with electrical exactly? Thanks!

Re: Question to manual tranny owners
Is he using the stock ECU? Did he remove the TCU? What do you mean by the engine looses traction?

Re: Question to manual tranny owners
He said "There is no engine traction before 1500-1700rpm". He means the engine cant deliver 100% of its power
something like that..

Re: Question to manual tranny owners
So the motor is breaking down. Once over a certain RPM a motor running on 3 cylinders will smooth out.

I think before 1500-1700rpm happens something like when stock tranny did a shift - it eliminates every second injection, so maybe ECU reads "shift" before these rpm. Is it possible? I called him, he said he has stock ECU and connected stock TCU

Re: Question to manual tranny owners
He has an account here, but its difficult for him to read technical english, and also english)
Latest news: After disconnecting TCU warming up rpm hesitation is gone and engine runs much better before 1500-1700rpm, the problem solved
