Update.... SVX-Mcar

Yeterday, Danny Strutinsky of RAC called me at work. The modifications made to the drive unit to increase cooling on the SVX Mcar have worked quite well. The Corolla is now modified and the Taurus is undergoing rework. The SVX has logged about 700 miles snd the Corolla has almost 1800 on it since the rework. They have been using public roads for their tests and the locals in Rockland county, NY have become curious. Danny told me that GM has already contacted him. He is putting them off at this time because it is way too early in the program and many problems remain to be solved. I hope to drive the SVX-M next spring/summer to see what it can do.

I'll keep everyone updated as best as I can.

I remember years back in high school watching a video about some volvo that ran on all sorts of crap. you could dump gasoline in it, diesel fuel, kerosene, vegetable oil, all sorts of stuff. You could practically piss in the gas tank!

We have those in our 5-ton trucks. It is a mulit-fuel engine that is "supposed" to run on everything from kerosene to aviation fuel. Of course we only ever got ot put diesel in them becuase they were supposedly hooked up to run just diesel, but could be converted back to multi-fuel in about an hour. Something to do with timeing and the point of injection.

Cash,

I remember a news story during the first gas crisis in the early 70's. Some pig farmer made a methane generator on his farm that was fueled with pig crap. He converted his farm tractor and truck to run on methane. I guess he had one crappy pickup truck.

Hi Ponzi,

I'll explain. I was bounced off the network on my computer at work. For some stupid reason the network would not let me log on as Larry III from work. To get arround this, I joined up under Larry 3rd.

I want to delete this character from my work computer but I don't know how to leave the Network. I guess I'll have to contact Chris.

I can't.

I signed a confidentiality agreement with RAC about 3 1/2 years ago. I can only say what they approve and I am usually in hot water on thin ice.
