Worth the asking price?
'94 LSi Laguna Blue, one owner, garaged, 104k miles for $4950? I'd love to have a Laguna but my trick knee tells me the price might be a little high. Any thoughts?

Re: Worth the asking price?
High is relative . If it is a solid good running car, low miles, and it is, clean, I would hope it would be in the $4,000 neighborhood . If you like it then it is not too high. I would not sell my 1994 for less than $4,500,.

Re: Worth the asking price?
Seems a little high to me, but you can always offer less.

Well yeah, not with that $4000 6-speed in it.

Re: Worth the asking price?
it may be a little high but prices on used cars have been going up recently. cars that used to be 1k are now approaching 2k. i bought my 92 with less than 70k for 4 grand but i would think i could sell it for $4500 now even with more miles.

Re: Worth the asking price?
5 speed , but even then, a very solid car.

Re: Worth the asking price?
There's a clean '92 LS-L with 137k and a bad trans on the same website for $750. Unfortunately it's not Laguna Blue...

Re: Worth the asking price?
I believe the price is completely in line. The fact that it is a car with very low mileage, a complete history (1 owner), and looks to be completely rust free and in very nice shape, makes it worth that much in my opinion. All of those factors add value.

Re: Worth the asking price?
Oh, my mistake. It's definitely a beautiful car with nice upgrades which would price it higher than a stock SvX. All this you know already of course.

Re: Worth the asking price?
The price seem to be inline with the car.

Re: Worth the asking price?
That's a very nice if not beautiful example. The lack of rust/paint issues are key here as that stuff results in wallet yanking funds to fix, especially to have it done right... and professional. The only thing I may recommend for the sell is pulling the front license plate for the picture (it seems strangely bent out of shape ) and spending the extra time to do the Rain-X headlamp restoration to totally clean up the front end and match the freshly cleaned headlights with what appears to be a really fine SVX. Oh, and one owner + garaged? That's just full of win. Whomever buys this is one lucky guy/gal.

Re: Worth the asking price?
Found out today from the seller that it has AWD issues... Surprise! Not sure what they are yet- I suspect binding of some sort. Gonna try and look at it on Saturday.
