decisions decisions....

I'm starting to reconsider selling the car, not alot of people want it, and I can't let it sit for weeks in a parking lot.

So, can anyone help me track down an engine for under 700 bucks?

Re: decisions decisions....

You should be able to score something from

A&P (Route 11, Cicero)
Central Auto Recycling (Solvay)

There's a yard in East Syracuse that's home to at least one SVX, as well.

I never like ebay auctions that don't have pictures, or hardly any description, I'll try contacting him for information

Re: decisions decisions....

I would Google them and find out. If they have an engine, there is no sayig how much long it will be there.

Only 96 and 97 were OBD2. The engine is the same, though... just the ECU, sensors and wiring harness.

I am pretty sure all the sensors are the same... but maybe someone who's done this kind of work can tell you better. It's been a long time since I had a non-OBD car

Re: decisions decisions....

And BTW if I were you I'd keep it and try to fix it. You won't regret it and the first time that transplanted engine fires up you're gonna feel
