Re: TCU Power light switch

It's not too bad. The TCU is located under the dash on the drivers side above the kick panel. It piggy backs on the ECU.

This link is was very helpful when I did mine;

Here is the link that I used for the on/off switch. I used the location on the steering column that Nevin shows.

Here is variation, a in-dash switch

Re: TCU Power light switch

I hadn't seen that dash button, that's pretty neat. I just installed my switch in the ashtray.

Re: TCU Power light switch

thank you but i don't know why but i just don't understand where to find the connector where the wire goes from the ground.... i looked under the dash and there are so many different connectors... maybe what i am looking to be written on it, i know this is pretty simple but i just missed it a bit so if some on could circle it in the picture or something like that, please that would really help alot thank you, cause i really like this mod

Re: TCU Power light switch

I just did this the other day.

Here is a pic I took:

--

Now this picture is taken with me laying on my back, with my head below the brake pedal, looking up.

For reference (Nomake Wan post):

There will only be one empty hole on that side of the plug, (at least that is how it was on my 92). The wire goes in there, just make sure your on the right side of the plug.

If you mean the connectors for ground, they talked about plugging it into the diagnostic wires.
located in drivers side kick panel, they are 2 blue wires. no connector on them.

Ground can be any bolt or screw that is bolted or screwed to the metal frame of the car.
